Clara Magnifier is designed to work privately on your device. Clara does not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal data.

Camera and photos

Clara uses the camera only to show a live magnified view. Camera frames are processed on your device and are not uploaded or shared.

When you freeze a picture, Clara keeps that image in memory while you view it. Clara adds a copy to your Photos library only when you tap Save. You control and can delete any saved picture in the Photos app.

Information stored on your device

Clara stores your preferences and custom presets locally on your device so the app can remember your choices. Deleting the app removes this local information.

Purchases

Apple processes Clara’s optional one-time In-App Purchase. Clara uses StoreKit to check whether Apple reports that purchase as active. Clara does not receive or store your payment-card details. Apple’s handling of purchase information is governed by Apple’s privacy policy.

No tracking or third parties

Clara contains no advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, tracking technology, user accounts, or third-party sign-in. Clara does not create a profile about you and does not contact external servers.

Retention and deletion

Because Clara does not collect information on a server, there is no server-side personal data to retain or delete. You can remove local settings by deleting the app and remove saved pictures in Photos.

Changes

If this policy changes, the effective date above will be updated. Material changes will be reflected in the app or its App Store listing as appropriate.
