Privacy Policy
The short version: TalkTidy collects nothing. Everything happens on your iPhone.
Last updated: July 2026
Our approach to privacy
TalkTidy is designed so that your voice and your notes never leave your device. Recording, transcription, and AI structuring all run locally on your iPhone using Apple's on-device speech and Apple Intelligence. There is no TalkTidy server, no account, and no analytics.
Information we collect
None. TalkTidy does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal information. We do not use analytics or crash-reporting services, and we do not embed advertising or tracking software of any kind. On the App Store, our privacy label is Data Not Collected.
Where your data lives
Your recordings, transcripts, notes, photos, and any content you add are stored only on your device. If you choose to turn on iCloud backup, an encrypted copy is stored in your own private iCloud account, which is governed by Apple's privacy terms and which we cannot access.
Device permissions
TalkTidy asks for certain permissions only to provide features you request, and the data stays on your device:
- Microphone and Speech Recognition: to record and transcribe your notes.
- Notifications: to deliver reminders you set.
- Location: requested only when you create a location-based reminder, so the reminder can trigger when you arrive.
- Photo Library: requested only when you choose to attach a photo to a note.
In-app purchases
TalkTidy offers a one-time purchase, TalkTidy Forever, processed by Apple through the App Store. We never see your payment details. Purchase and restore are handled entirely by Apple's StoreKit.
Children's privacy
TalkTidy does not collect data from anyone, including children. The app is rated 4+ and contains no user-to-user content sharing.
Changes to this policy
If this policy ever changes, we will update this page and revise the date above. Because TalkTidy collects nothing, any change will be about clarity rather than new data practices.
